Join thousands of city residents in the annual Independence Day celebration in New Haven on the 4th of July is fireworks. Every year, the firework show gathers thousands of people. It starts just after the sunset, around 9 pm, and involves not just the lights display but also food tastings and a live music concert. The official spot for watching the firework show is Wilbur Cross High School, but the lights should be perfectly visible from any point in the city. The show will also be broadcast live on local television.
